The parts are well packed in foam peanuts. Digging them out reveals the sides, braces, neck, fingerboard, tuners, binding, and other parts. The top and back are protected by addtional cardboard at the bottom of the box. All of the small parts come in a plastic bag. You can see the adjustable truss rod in the bottom right corner of the box. This fingerboard is slotted, but not drilled for inlays. Also included in the box is a short booklet detailing (!) the construction of a kit guitar. There is probably enough information to get by in this book, but read everything else that you can.
